THERE IS A PLACE FOR YOUR SACRIFICE AND BURNT OFFERING 

MARIAH - A PLACE CHOSEN BY JEHOVAH

GENESIS 22:1-18

2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. 

14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.

DAVID BURNT SACRIFICE AND ALTAR:

2 SAMUEL 24 - 24 And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. 25 And David built there an altar unto the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.

SOLOMON BULT THE TEMPLE ON THE SAME LOCATION (MT MORIAH)

2 CHRONICLES 3 - 1Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite. 2 And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

CHOSEN PLACE OF SACRIFICE - DEUT 12:5, 16:2,6

WHERE IS THE PLACE GOD HAS CHOSEN FOR HIMSELF?

The only place that God would ever meet anybody, is by His Own choosing.

He chose His place. 

He put His Name.

Chose Life, follow Him, and serve Him and worship Him 

Reject HIM is death. 

God meets a man under the shed Blood of the Lamb. Blood was God’s way in the beginning, and Blood is God’s way even TODAY

And the Name was placed in a Man, not a church, not a denomination, not a creed, but a Man! 

He chose to place His Name in Jesus Christ.

John 5:43 - I have come in My Father’s name,

PHILLIPIANS 2:9-11 "For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, ¹⁰ so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, ¹¹ and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father"

CHRIST OUR HIGH PRIEST - MEDIATOR OF A NEW COVENANT. (Hebrews 9:11-28

"But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building"

Jesus (Emmanuel) becomes the place of God’s worship, where you worship Him.

1. There is your place of worship.
2. There is your hiding place.
3. There is the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.
4. Not a church, not a creed, not a building but the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.

HOW CAN I ENTER IN?

- you don’t join but baptized in by fire

1 Cor 12:13 - "For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit" 

THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION WHILE THERE -

ROMANS 8:1 - There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
